To find out if your business has a website made with Google Business Profile, search for my business or your business name on Google. Once you find your Google Business Profile, edit your profile and check for your website in the contact section. If you have a Google Business Profile site, it should say, “You have a website created with Google.”

TikTok announced earlier this week their new Creator Rewards program, content creators will need to make videos longer than a minute to monetize through the program. The previous creator fund, which didn’t have a requirement for video length, shut down in November.

TikTok is facing renewed calls for a potential ban in America by U.S. Senators. A bipartisan group of lawmakers is proposing a law that would force ByteDance, TikTok’s owner, to divest the app within the next six months. If not, TikTok risks losing its user base of 150 million people in the United States.

Tech Crunch - Elon Musk switched on X calling by default: Here’s how to switch it off

In a post on Wednesday, X’s official news account announced the new feature: “audio and video calling are now available to everyone on X! who are you calling first?” X wrote. Calling is enabled by default in the X apps. The caveat is that you can only make and receive calls on X’s app, and not yet in your browser.

Today, Google started to roll out its first core update of the year and its first algorithm update of the year – the March 2024 core update. Elizabeth Tucker, Director of Product, Search at Google, told Search Engine Land that the update will help reduce unhelpful content in Google Search by 40%.

Women’s History Month is a great opportunity to highlight the amazing women on your team or in your network. If your team is planning on acknowledging Women’s History Month, here are some things to keep in mind. Whether it’s one social media post or an entire campaign, these few things can help you show appreciation to your female audience.

  • Acknowledgement: Set aside a day to celebrate Women's History Month through your social media posts and actions with your internal team/followers, you can do this by sharing educational insight and quotes from the notable women in your industry or simply spotlighting remarkable women within your team or network. 

  • Relevance: When creating educational content for Women's History Month, it’s super important that what you share aligns with your brand. If your post isn't unique to your brand, your content could come off as generic and insincere.

  • Give Thanks: Overall this month is a celebration of Women in general, not just our lovely followers, so take the time to show some love for the women on your team. This can be done by giving a gift basket, or flowers, hosting a nice lunch for your team, and if you don't have to resources to do so, a simple email or text will suffice.
