Helping an international organization amplify their digital voice
Creative Associates International is a global organization that supports people around the world to realize positive change.
In 2017, they needed a full review of existing social media channels and content, as well as strategic recommendations and tools, for taking their digital communications work to the next level.
We conducted a full social media audit, an in-depth competitive analysis of seven peer organizations, and worked directly with key staff to understand the organization’s needs and challenges as far as social media management.
After presenting our findings to staff, we drafted strategic recommendations for the organization addressing their needs on every social media channel where they have a presence, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and on their website and blog.
In addition, we developed an editorial calendar template and set up the organization to use monitoring and management tools, as well as trained communications staff on how to use them effectively with organization staff across departments.

Based on our research and work, Creative Associates International is better prepared to work with international staff to contribute regularly to their social media presence. They are able to manage content more effectively over time, ensure that the content is consistent and branded appropriately, monitor their peer organizations and partners, and stay up-to-date on new digital communications channels and tactics.
